Confident Expectation of God’s Answer
“I pray with expectation that my prayers will be answered; be it big or small.”
God wants us to be specific when we pray. We can give Him the details of what we need.
We should have a deep assurance that He wants the best for us in every situation. When there is silence we know that God is still there; on the throne, in control.
An awesome sense of power, strength, assurance, and confidence begins to well up inside our heart when we know that He is in control. Sha’drach, Me’shach, and A-bed’-ne-go were able to face terrifying obstacles to worship their God. They were willing to go into the fiery furnace and risk their lives, because they knew God was in control and they weren’t going to worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
Psalm 5:3 Listen to my voice in the morning, LORD. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.
