ABOUT US

Encompass Church was founded in 1952 in the northern suburbs, planted originally from Richmond Temple (now Neuma Church). Over the past 70 years many wonderful and godly men and women have led the church, including Ps John and Lois Spinella who pastored for over 25 years reaching many for Christ. Ps Jason and Alissa Newcastle are the current Senior Pastors, appointed in 2023.

Encompass Church has three locations in the northern suburbs – Bundoora, Doreen and Craigieburn. We are a gospel-centred, Spirit-filled, vibrant church where people encounter Jesus, grow in freedom and together build the Kingdom of God.

Encompass Church is a beautiful expression of the diversity of heaven – people of every nationality, generation and circumstance come together as one in Christ.  We don’t just gather for Sunday services and mid-week programs but we desire to build a community of believers who do life together, where you can be fully known and fully loved, as we are all being built up into the image of Christ.

We believe that deeply transformed people who know their God-given calling and giftings can change the world in radical ways.
